Bergen Airport, "Flesland", is situated 12 miles (20 kilometers) south of Bergen. The airport is about 25 minutes away from the center of Bergen, depending on the traffic. Modern, compact, well equipped, and has all conveniences, like duty free shops, souvenir stores.

Transportation from the airport to the city centre: By Car: Follow trunk road 580/ E39 towards Flesland from Bergen centre. The trip usually takes approximately 30 minutes. Remember to calculate extra time during rush hour.

By Bus: The airport bus between Bergen Flesland Airport and the centre of Bergen takes approx. 30 minutes and departs every 15 minutes. The earliest departure is 7.30 a.m. and the latest return follows the flights. The airport bus follows two different routes to and from the city centre.

By Taxi:
The taxi stand is just opposite the main entrance. The trip to the city centre takes approx 20 – 30 minutes and costs NOK 250 – 300, depending on traffic. As a customer, you may choose which company you wish to use.
